Package: network-manager
Version: 0.8.2-3
Severity: important

shambhala:~> dbus-send --print-reply --system                        \
        --dest=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager \
        /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager       \
        org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.wake
Error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied: Rejected send message, 9 matched rules; type="method_call", sender=":1.369" (uid=0 pid=1467 comm="dbus-send) interface="org.freedesktop.NetworkManager" member="wake" error name="(unset)" requested_reply=0 destination="org.freedesktop.NetworkManager" (uid=0 pid=1360 comm="/usr/sbin/NetworkManager))

versus:

shambhala:~#1> dbus-send --print-reply --system                        \
        --dest=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager \
        /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager       \
        org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.sleep
method return sender=:1.352 -> dest=:1.358 reply_serial=2
shambhala:~> dbus-send --print-reply --system                        \
        --dest=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager \
        /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager       \
        org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.wake
method return sender=:1.352 -> dest=:1.360 reply_serial=2

in network-manager 0.8.1-6.

Always reproducable.

Call is from pm-utils script:

shambhala:~> dpkg -L pm-utils | grep Network
/usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/55NetworkManager

I put it into my own /etc/acpi/hibernate-extra.sh since
I use hibernate which I consider to be more robust than
pm-utils.
