The wireless chip is according to lspci

03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Ultimate N WiFi Link 5300, 

it uses the iwlagn driver (at least with kernel 2.6.35-rc5 
from experimental)

I've tested both knetworkmanager and nm-applet. 

When connecting to this WPA2 network with a 20 character passphrase, the log 
says (grep Network on /var/log/daemon.log):

The name of the network is anonymized. 

The connection works perfectly if I don't use network-manager, but 
/etc/network/interfaces with a wpa_supplicant.conf. (For testing 
network-manager, I've commented out this interface.)
