Might be a live CD issue after all.
I tried a Debian net-install with a current squeeze installer and could not
reproduce the problem.

Given that the output of the dbus init script is pretty clear what is going, the
problem is easy fixable by removing the file and the fact that I can't reproduce
the problem, I'm downgrading the severity.
