[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Disk Utility

Hi there,

I don't know if this is a bug or just me :-/ it would be great if you
could give me a pointer. I've searched the web but couldn't find
anything :-/

I'm using Disk Utility 2.30.1 (Standard Squeeze) trying to format an USB
attached volume. 
While trying to 'Format Volume' with 'Type: Ext4', 'Take ownership of
filesystem: checked' and 'Encrypt underlying device: checked'. I receive
then the following error message:

Error creating filesystem
An Error occurred while performing an operation on "500 GB
Encrypted" (Whole-disk volume on SAMSUNG HM500LI): The operation failed
Details:
Error creating file system: cryptsetup exited with exit code 251: Failed
to access temporary keystore device.
"
