Package: network-manager-vpnc
Version: 0.8.4-1
Severity: normal
Trouble is in call of vpnc without --enable-1des option.
VPNC_DEBUG=1 /usr/lib/NetworkManager/nm-vpnc-service
/usr/sbin/vpnc: peer selected (single) DES as "encrytion" method.
This algorithm is considered to weak today
If your vpn concentrator admin still insists on using DES
use the "--enable-1des" option.
** (nm-vpnc-service:23633): WARNING **: <WARN> vpnc_watch_cb(): vpnc exited
with error code 1
When I had added that option to nm-vpnc-service.c and built the package,
trouble disappeared.
