Also,

find /usr/share/hal -type f
/usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/10-camera-libgphoto2.fd
/usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/10-camera-libgphoto2-device.fd
OK this latter pair I suppose is not your fault maybe.
