[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#614625: network-manager does not detect changes after module removal and re-insertion

I just filed #614622 because my NIC shows NO CARRIER after resuming
from sleep.  My workaround for that bug is to rmmod and insmod
atl2.ko, which allows my interface to recognize that there is indeed a
carrier.

However, after i've done that, i still need to restart network-manager
in order to get the interface to re-activate in my applet.

So my current workaround is:

 modprobe -v -r atl2
 modprobe -v atl2
 /etc/init.d/network-manager restart

I think network-manager should notice that the interface went away and
came back, and re-initialize whatever it needs to re-initialize
without my needing the last step of the workaround.
