[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#598150: Using consolekit 0.4.1-4 workarounds the issue

Hi,

I just wanted to add that using consolekit 0.4.1-4 from stable (with newer nm
and nm-applet) works okay for me.

Also,

The bug reported to xdm was marked as wont fix: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=615020

It seems it was marked as wont fix [1] because "It seems nobody apart from
Mandriva/openSUSE is interested into having this support in xdm. Hence closing
as WONTFIX."
Perhaps if Debian is interested too (and I wonder why wouldn't an other distro care
about it, how do they handle this ?) they merge it upstream ?

Or how will this whole problem be solved ?
