Yes, this is correct. But I am quite sure that in the past g-p-m was
able to properly read the discharging data without killing my disk and
my screen.
I am using mostly gnome: all low level infrastructure and the panel,
but with fvwm and no nautilus.
My screen backlight is at the lowest level since I am running on
battery, it's not flashing. Killing gnome-screensaver does not help, so
I do not believe that it is related either.
Hopefully tonight I will be able to test the older packages.
