[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#649043: network-manager-gnome: nm seems to automatically connect to any unprotected network

Hi all,

it seems that with some upgrade (probably to the 0.9 series) NM now
automatically connects to available unprotected networks. AFAIR this
was *not* automatically in former times, one had to select the network
to connect to.

I would like to have a way to get back to this behaviour, as most of
the time I have apparently open networks around, but they are pay by
usage and I don't even want to connect to these networks.
