Hey Peter,

Have you fix this problem? I come across the same problem after I turn
to E17 from Gnome3 , and try to use nm-applet to control my internet
connection.
At last I find this blog and its section **Network Manager**, the
solution it offers just fix my problem .Hope this gonna help .
