I would guess I gave to install yet another service to make this
password dialog work? I haven't got this dialog in a test session,
even though 2 users were logged in.

And how is this stuff related to the sudo _group_ ?  The default
"sudo" line in /etc/sudoers might have been modified or kicked
out on purpose. Hopefully this is not ignored?
