hi,

since a few days nm-applet does no longer show up in the notification
area (in my case provided by traer) when a fixed height (in my case
15px) is set, which used to work fine until the last update (gnome/gtk,
i'm not 100% shure if there was a network-manager update involved, as it
did only ocour after the next reboot)

output of nm-applet:

even though it works (is clickable) it is basically not usable since you
have to guess where is is (and it seems to be 2px wide).
