Package: network-manager-gnome
Version: 0.9.2.0-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Upgrade from stable to testing (wheezy) without gnome desktop (I prefer lxde)
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
Running as non root user in netdev group I had been unable to
a) turn on/off networking
b) save GSM connection setup
Installing gnone pakage fixed both problems.
IMHO there should be another network-manager package to provide FULL network-
manager-gnome functionality for non gnome desktop environments (e.g. lxde)
