Package: network-manager
Version: 0.9.5.95-1
Severity: normal
Hello,
this is not a recent issue i was hitten by the problem a long time ago (maybe a year).
During the boot i see the classic message "Starting network connection manager: NetworkManager. [ok]" but when i log in network-manager have no running process.
If i put "/etc/init.d/network-manager start" inside /etc/rc.local it says on boot that network manager is already started but if I do that and i login network manager is running.
I have network-manager-dbg installed but i don't know how to start it with the init script in order to debug it.
I'm using network-manager from experimental (if I found out how to debug it I'll open a new bug) beacause sid version crash also with the /etc/rc.local trick and i have to start it after login with the same /etc/init.d/network-manager start.
Thanks
