I don't need avahi daemon, it slows down my boot and shutdown (it needs
about 5 seconds for each interface),
and it keeps being installed by dependencies.

Please provide a debconf menu to deactivate avahi daemon.

Better would be to deactivate it by default and provide a debconf menu
to activate it ;-)
