[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#636137: Same problem with my Vaio laptop

Ok, I'm having this problem as well. I installed network-manager and
disabled wireless (before that, I was using wicd and everything was
working just fine). After that, I haven't been able to enable it
again. I uninstalled network-manager and re-installed wicd, but wicd
keeps telling me "no wireless networks found". The rfkill method
mentioned above doesn't seem to help. Here's the output of rfkill
list:

0: sony-wifi: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
1: phy0: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no

So, right now I have no wireless on my laptop anymore. Any help with
this issue is greatly appreciated.
