Dear Maintainer,
for avahi-daemon to work, dbus must first have been started. The package should declare this. It took me a few minutes to realize that I was not missing a dbus helper but needed simply `{service start dbus}.

Process 8175 died: No such process; trying to remove PID file. (/var/run/avahi-daemon//pid)
Found user 'avahi' (UID 117) and group 'avahi' (GID 122).
Successfully dropped root privileges.
avahi-daemon 0.6.31 starting up.
dbus_bus_get_private(): Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory
WARNING: Failed to contact D-Bus daemon.
avahi-daemon 0.6.31 exiting.
File size limit exceeded. (IIRC)
