That's not the X server crashing; it's either a bug in libdbus or in
colord-sane (or possibly something else used by colord-sane). This is a
bug, but it shouldn't affect the X server, or anything else except
colour correction for scanning.

Please report your X server crash separately, as a bug in the X server
(if it turns out to be another component's fault, it can be reassigned).
The X maintainers can hopefully help you debug that.

As for this crash, it looks a lot like #675852, which is believed to
have been fixed in colord 0.1.21-2 (with further fixes in -3 and -4).
colord maintainers: do you think it would be desirable/feasible to put
together a minimal stable update to fix this?
