I'm wondering about the status of this report. Is the problem solved for you ?
I'm not exactly sure what service cookies are, and how to diagnostic whether one uses them :-/
I've had similar issues with name-nn.local hosts instead of name.local, but am clueless as whether it's the same issue or another one with similar symptoms...
