Fwiw, this also concern's other parts of the stack, like PolicyKit
If you want to keep the non-logind / non-systemd paths working, we need
someone willing to maintaing the old ConsoleKit code-paths and make all
affected packages able to switch the backend on runtime. ConsoleKit,
which is unmaintained, would need a maintainer as well.
I simply don't have the ressources to do that.
