Fixing incorrect dependencies is certainly among the things the release
team will allow to migrate. 

        And once jessie is released then really I can't see much sense of adding 
        that information either because by then you'll allready be running upower 
        and gdm3 from jessie and so this becomes a non-issue?

I agree that after jessie this becomes a non-issue.0
