Hello,

I'm hitting the very same problem on my fresh Sid install with systemd. 
Here's some more information which may be of some use:

I just installed systemd and used the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT 
workaround as proposed in the doc[1]
It seems the error appears once I start the Slim session manager.
This also seems to make my login fail: I can enter my username/password 
in Slim, but after that I have only the Slim background, like it's not 
starting my session correctly.
A login in a TTY still works, meaning I may give some more information 
provided you know what to look for.
Rolling back to Sysvinit makes it work again as it should

Any help would be welcome.
