[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] avahi & sane-backends

Hi,

I'm the maintainer of sane-backends on debian.

There is a bug[1] "scanimage fails when avahi is enabled".

Please can someone take a lock on this bug? I don't have any skills on
avahi, so I have no chance to ask the right questions.
