Package: upower
Version: 0.99.1-3
Severity: important
Hi,
twice now my notebook grinded to a halt cause upowerd consumed more than
1.5G of memory:
27460 root 20 0 1947396 1.630g 1396 S 0.0 45.7 2:18.29 upowerd
This appears to happen when the battery is running very low and upowerd
needs to kick in.
This seems to be a known bug upstream:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=82659
And a (draft) patch exists:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=105169
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=105170
