[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#760618: network-manager 'forgets' about MC5725

Package: network-manager
Version: 0.9.10.0-1.1

When using a Sierra Wireless MC5725 wireless card with network-manager, when
the "Enable Mobile Broadband" option in the menu is disabled, n-m will rfkill
the card. The card will drop off the USB bus as expected. However, in the n-m
applet, the "Enable Mobile Broadband" option is now gone with no way to get
it back other than manually re-enabling the card with rfkill.

Syslog output, after disabling mobile broadband in nm:

Either n-m needs to use a different method of sensing the presence
of the card such that it won't "forget" it's there after it
rfkills it, or it should not rfkill the card.

Other info
Debian version: unstable
modemmanager version: 1.2.0-1
uname -a: Linux x300 3.14.13-x300 #2 SMP Sun Aug 3 21:45:26 PDT 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux
(I can test this bug with a stock kernel if someone believes
the custom kernel may have something to do with this).
