Package: udisks2
Version: 2.1.3-5
Severity: normal
While UDisks implements functions for labelling [0] and formatting [1]
partitions and drives and, judging by gnome-disks(1), they are pretty
working, udisksctl(1) does not provide a user interface for them.
Not being something important by itself, in a couple with revoking raw
access to removable block devices from users (bug #751892 [2]) this lack
of feature presents a regression in Jessie for a user that wants
re-label or re-format an USB-drive using a non-interactive utility:
using e2label(8) / fatlabel(8) / mkfs(8) requires superuser rights now.
