[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#834000: [Require for Feature] Should notice user when setting up wireless AP with a card that doesn't support AP mode

Package: network-manager
Version: 1.2.4-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I have a laptop with an intel wireless/pro 5100 AGN card installed,
and actually according to `sudo iw list` this card doesn't support
AP mode.

So if I click "set up wireless AP" from gnome panel's wireless
settings, network manager will pretend to be doing something and
finally end up with connecting to some other wifi.

Can it say "Sorry your card doesn't support that."?
The program behaviour I encountered is quite confusing to users.

Please make this enhancement, thanks.
