Yes.  We would then make cinnamon declare that it requires this version (or
higher) of the package and use that .desktop file instead of the one we are
using.

Also, remember that the package description is inaccurate regarding cinnamon not
using it.

Please let us know when you are planning to make the upload so that we can be
ready to make the follow-up cinnamon upload.
