   * What led up to the situation?
connecting to vpn via NetworkManager gui (imported VPN config)

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Manually invoking openvpn mycfg.conf works properly
Using NetworkManager - not, NetworkManager reports that vpn connection was successful but I cannot 
access any resources in remote location

   * What was the outcome of this action?
Connetion via Netowork Manager gui reports that connection was successful but nothing remote is accessible (moreover
there is a difference between `route -n` command between manual openvpn execution and via NetworkManager)
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
working vpn...
