I'm cloning the bug for this particular problem. There seems to be
a conflict between this error box and the ProfileManager dialog box
(I've configured Firefox to always show this dialog box on start-up):
both appear at the same time instead of one at a time.

I have similar errors with emacs24, which also uses libdbus-1-3.
I've tried gimp too, and I get:

Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-QfZ0w9XNaC: Connection refused

So, this seems to be a problem with D-BUS itself.
