Here is another data point which may help narrow down the issue. I
installed and tested 0.105-11 and 0.105-12 from snapshots.
0.105-11: worked OK
0.105-12: regressed
I hope it helps a little bit even though the changelog entry of
0.105-12 is quite hefty.
Note that this time I didn't reboot the system and tried xfce reboot
entry since it takes a long time. Instead I checked the Network
Manager menu, it shows a similar regression with the new policykit
version, "Enable Networking" and "Enable Wi-Fi" entries in right click
menu, and "Edit" buttons in "Edit connections" dialog are all disabled
in the new policykit version, even though they were working perfectly
in the old version.
