While reading those instructions I noticed that their script is insecure,
and have opened <https://phabricator.freedesktop.org/T7462>.

I don't get this with flatpak 0.6.4-1, so I think locales might have been
fixed in or before that version - looking at NEWS, 0.5.2 seems plausible.
Please update to a recent version and try again? (Flatpak is the new name for
xdg-app.)

I still get this, but it appears to be harmless.
