Since Cinnamon is based on GNOME Shell, and GNOME3 has a builtin polkit
agent, we were assuming this is also the case for Cinnamon, which is
based on GNOME Shell. Do you know if Cinnamon is going to get its own
authentication agent eventually or continue to rely on an external
application?

Description: authentication agent for PolicyKit

PolicyKit-gnome provides a D-Bus session bus service that is used to
bring up authentication dialogs used for obtaining privileges.
 .
This implementation was originally designed for GNOME 2, but most
GNOME-based desktop environments, including GNOME 3, GNOME Flashback,
MATE, have their own built-in PolicyKit agents and no
longer use this one. The remaining users of this implementation
 are Cinnamon, XFCE and Unity.

Does that sound ok? I didn't bother to list all DEs in the short
synopsis, as this would make it pretty unwieldy

I was planning on making the upload this weekend.
