Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

   Upgrade of network manager

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

    Attempt to modify using nmcli

   * What was the outcome of this action?

    The search domains appeared in the show command, but restarting
    network manager or disconnecting/reconnecting did not result in
    their appearance in resolv.conf. Domains containing a dot did
    appear.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

   I expected the domains to appear in the resolv.conf
