[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#869795: network-manager-openvpn-gnome: can't specify route without gateway or use vpn_gateway

Package: network-manager-openvpn-gnome
Version: 1.2.8-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I tried to configure openvpn through the Gnome dialogs. In the IPv4
tab adding a route cannot leave the gateway and metric fields empty,
although they have reasonable defaults and are not required in OpenVPN
per se.
I tried to import a configuration file that mentions a route with the
vpn_gateway setting and it showed an error message
"unsupported 3th argument vpn_gateway to "route" "
Manually editing the Network Manager file does work (leaving out
everything but the network range) and the VPN connection works fine,
but I cannot edit the connection through the dialog: it refuses to
save until I fill out the gateway and metric field.
The right thing to do for the dialog would be to accept empty fields
and let openvpn use defaults.
