Package: network-manager-gnome
Version: 1.8.10-2
Followup-For: Bug #567458
Hi,
I also face this bug since a couple of days. When I attempt connecting
to my coporate OpenVPN server, I get this message in syslog:
Invalid VPN service type (cannot find authentication binary)
My connection is not setup to be available to every user, nor have I
stored the password for everyone (even if I have tried this 2
"workarounds" to no avail).
The only workaround I have found working, is to launnch nm-applet in a
console, then initiating the connection and it works. I can close the
console it keeps working until I disconnect. I have written down the
password in /etc/Networkmanager/system-connections/VPN with the
auth-user-pass directive, and I still have to launch nm-applet by hand.
Don't know what to do more.
Can I provide you with more logs or info ?
Cheers,
