Hi everyone!
Eric, thanks a lot for your reply.
Since I don't know, how long it will take for docker and libvirt to have
better firewalld/nftables integration the the feature freeze for Debian
stretch is not too far away, let's go back to the iptables backend,
especially after the reassurence from Eric that this backend is fully
supported.
We already had a back-and-forth (last time the 4.18 kernel was not
available yet in Debian) wrt the default backend.
To avoid yet another one, it would be awesome, if you Ralf or you Tomas,
could raise this issue with the libvirt and docker maintainer and file a
corresponding Debian bug report and tell me the bug numer
I would then file a Debian bug against firewalld for switching the
backend back to nftables, and block it with those other bug reports.
Besides libvirt and docker, are other packages / use cases affected as
well that you know of?
Regards,
Michael
