[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#910124: network-manager-gnome: option to import/export WiFi config as a QR code

Package: network-manager-gnome
Version: 1.8.18-1
Severity: wishlist

I recently discovered that there is a defacto standard for converting
WiFi configs to QR codes and back again.

https://qifi.org/
https://github.com/zxing/zxing/wiki/Barcode-Contents#wifi-network-config-android

It would be nice if the NetworkManager user interface could support
this by allowing users to:

* show a QR code on the screen
* print a QR code onto paper
* import config from a QR code in a photo
* import config from a QR code from webcam output

This would be a nicer way to transfer the information than reading it
aloud, especially for Internet cafes or other places where it could be
put up on a wall.
