I can also confirm.

Our DHCP server (isc dhcp) provides a single search domain : ipgp.fr
The generated /etc/resolv.conf contains :
search ipgpfr

As the bug reporter said, manually fixing
/run/NetworkManager/resolv.conf is necessary to get DNS working again.
