After adding this option, it worked. But only if I dont defined a "cloned MAC-
address" in the nm gui (plasma).

Before putting the option in /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf, I tried 
with and without defining a "cloned MAC-address" in the nm-plasma gui - made no 
difference.

In the case that I used a short device name defined by my own udev script, it 
worked with and without defining a "cloned MAC-address".
