alpha is not a release architecture, so expect it to have issues.

Can alpha kernels be configured to make processes crash with a core dump
on unaligned access, like /proc/cpu/alignment on ARM?

It is unlikely to be possible to solve this in dbus without having a
backtrace for each unaligned access that indicates where the problem
occurred.
