Since /etc/network/if-post-down.d/ifenslave is shipped by the ifenslave 
package, I wonder why you filed this against network-manager.
Are you suggesting that I remove
/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/01-ifupdown?
I don't see another way to address in network-manager besides not 
running ifupdown hook at all anymore.
