[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#990252: network-manager-gnome: Broken notification icon on VPN connect/failure

Package: network-manager-gnome
Version: 1.20.0-3
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

The network manager applet sends desktop notifications on VPN connections or
failures. However, the icon in these notifications is 'broken' (i.e., white
page icon with a slashed red circle).

In the source code file 'network-manager-applet-1.20.0/src/applet.c, there are
three instances where notifications specify "gnome-lockscreen" for the
notification icon. These are the cause of the broken icon as that icon does
not exist in Adwaita, hicolor or any other icon set I could find.

The "gnome-lockscreen" instances should probably be changed to the appropriate
icons supplied by the network-manager-gnome package, namely "nm-device-wired"
and "nm-no-connection".

(My workaround was to link the various Adwaita/*/legacy/network-vpn.png
icon files into my icon set corresponding to */apps/gnome-lockscreen.png
as appropriate.)
