Package: dbus-broker
Version: 30-1
Severity: important

Dear maintainer,
the aptitude update of dbus-broker from 29-4 to 30.1 occurs well:
Unpacking dbus-broker (30-1) over (29-4) ...
Setting up dbus-broker (30-1) ...
Upgrading to a newer dbus-broker version requires a reboot:
please reboot the system when convenient.
Yet after rebooting:
. only ethernet network access works, and only if the cable is plugged before startup
. kde networking manager does not see any wifi
. at some stage the kde networking icon vanishes
. rebooting plasma shell through the following command does not solve the issue
killall plasmashell ; kstart5 plasmashell
Reversing the dbus-broker package to 29-4 from 30.1 completely solves the issue (after a full reboot).
I don't know at this stage if kde or dbus-broker is the culprit.
Best,
Ara
