Package: pipewire
Version: 0.3.61-1
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
NEWS.gz file is provided by libpipewire-0.3-0 which I understand is a depends
to almost whatever the other pipewire related packages are installed.
This is a bit «disturbing me» each time I am looking for it and not founding it
(also?) in /usr/share/doc/pipewire as its content addresses many information
points related to other components than the library itself.
Otherwise, why not then providing it by libpipewire-0.3-common package?
I do not know if there is any recommendation/policy regarding this file.
But for instance within all the systemd packages, the NEW.gs file is in
/usr/share/doc/systemd.
Finally, do not hesitate to close this «issue» if it is noise to you. ;-)
Regards,
Patrice
