I'm not saying your solution is wrong.
I'm trying to say that the way you rolled out the solution can be improved.

If you depend on a new version of a 3rd party package to be rolled out in a timely manner in order to not break systems the hard way, then please coordinate with the maintainers of said package *before*.

Btw, thanks for maintaining n-m, it's crucial to much of my desktop work.
