Package: pkexec
Followup-For: Bug #853165

Dear Maintainer,

    * What led up to the situation?
I don't know what led to the situation, but it was working a
few months
ago. The problem seems to be happening randomly to some people, as a
search on
the net shows.
    * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I tried a few things that people suggest without success, like
reinstalling related packages:
sudo  apt install --reinstall gir1.2-polkit-1.0 libpolkit-agent-1-0
policykit-1-gnome

I don't know where do I read the following but I confirmed it with
chatgpt. The user needs to be in sudo or admin group so that pkexec works.

So I checked in which groups my user was:
         $ groups
<$USER here> dialout plugdev users docker libvirt libvirt-qemu

Then I added my user to sudo with:
$ sudo usermod -aG sudo $USER

I don't know if a reboot or a logout/login is need but, it is
working
now.

    * What was the outcome of this action?
pkexec is showing the dialog requesting for the root password.
