Package: network-manager
Version: 1.52.0-6
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
I connected my Android phone to the system via USB and enabled USB tethering.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
After enabling USB tethering, the expected interface (e.g., `wwx*`) did not show up in 'nmcli device status', and NetworkManager did not automatically manage it.
I had to manually run `ip link set <interface> up and then `dhclient <interface> to get connectivity.
* What was the outcome of this action?
NetworkManager ignored the USB tethered interface.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
USB tethering working.
