[Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#1117509: vlc stops playing when the audio output is switched automatically (regression)

(removing the "upstream" tag as this is now about an announce from
the Debian package).

Upstream says that this is a feature (which can be disabled).
Since this changes the historical behavior, this should have been
announced in NEWS.Debian.

Otherwise, in particular because this affects VLC only (and perhaps
some other players I'm not aware of), there may be no way for the
user to find the cause. BTW, before reporting the bug, I compared
with Firefox and did various searches on the web (but focusing on
VLC since Firefox was not affected) and could not find anything.

The way to revert to the previous behavior could also be given:

  wpctl settings --save linking.pause-playback false

(documentation such as man pages is currently not provided by the
Debian package).
